Mark D. Pellazari, 56, of Granite City died on Monday, December 28, 2020 in Granite City, IL.
He was born on December 23, 1964 in Highland, IL to John Otto and Rita (Childerson) Pellazari.
Mark was a member of the Freedom Worship Center in Granite City, IL. He worked in several auto parts stores as a sales clerk and sales manager. Mark enjoyed drag racing and working on older cars. He was also a lifelong Pittsburg Steelers fan.
Survivors include a brother, Marvin (Marsha) Pellazari of Granite City, IL; 3 aunts: Caroline Childerson of Carlinville, IL, Jane Childerson of Greenville, IL and June Childerson of Pocahontas, IL; 8 nieces and nephews: Austin Pellazari, Aubrie Pellazari, Katherine Gerber, Kay Porter, Darrell Pellazari, Johnny Baker, Judy Jenkins and Lisa Warren and a special friend, Catherine Hutchinson. Also surviving are 3 step children: Adam Hutchinson, Brad Hutchinson and Jennifer Hutchinson; 3 step grandchildren: Kingston, Colton and Heidi and several great nieces, great nephews, cousins, friends and lifelong best friends: Keith Smick, Dave Rippy and Kurt Ficker.
Besides his parents, Mark is preceded in death by a brother, John Lee Pellazari and 2 sisters: Rita Marlene Pellazari and Iona Baker.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Freedom Worship Center in Granite City, IL. COVID 19 protocols for churches will be in effect including everyone is required to wear a mask and to social distance.
