CNB Bank & Trust N.A. continues to assist local small businesses throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago has approved matching funds to CNB in response to its application for the Targeted Impact Fund.

The fund provides members with grants to support relief efforts for populations hardest-hit by COVID-19 as well as to promote equity and opportunity for communities of color. The Targeted Impact Fund opened Aug. 17, with funding available through Sept. 30.

Through their partnership with FHLB Chicago, CNB is providing $5,000 to select organizations to continue to meet the needs of populations hardest hit by the COVID-19 crisis in local branch areas.

“CNB Bank & Trust is very proud of our longstanding relationship with the Boys & Girls Club of Alton,” said Anthony Heitzig, a regional president at CNB. “The Boys & Girls Club of Alton takes great pride in the Alton-Godfrey community and they focus on instilling that same pride in their youth members. They enable all young people, especially those in need, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.  The Boys & Girls Club of Alton keeps kids off the streets by promoting interaction and diversity, providing mentors, role models, and physical and emotional security in a fun environment.  CNB Bank & Trust is proud to partner with the Federal Home Loan Bank in awarding the Targeted Impact Funds to this worthy organization.”
